Assessments
Depending on the course you are undertaking, assessments will be conducted during the face to face training. Some courses have post course work as well.
All assessments are conducted in English and assessment methods include:, Theory Assessments and Practical Demonstration/Verbal.
Theory Assessments
Theory Assessments vary on the course being delivered and mode of delivery. Short courses run face to face encompass true/false quiz's, whilst longer course incorporate short answer/long answer tests to be completed. Online training and Self-Paced Learning incorporate a mixture of the two Theory Assessment types.
Practical/Verbal Assessments
Practical/Verbal Assessments are conducted for each course varying on the subject the student is enrolled in. Using a Competency Checklist the Trainer/Assessor will ask students to perform skills and answer questions during a roll play exercise.
Assessment Re-sit's
If a student has been deemed not-yet satisfactory at the time of their assessment's, they will be given the opportunity to re-sit the assessments at the end of the session with extra guidance from the trainer/assessor. If the student is still found not-yet-satisfactory after the re-sit, the student will need to attend another training session.
Alternative Assessments
Full Verbal assessments can be arranged for some courses, if a student is not able to complete a written assessment, these have to be pre-arranged with the trainer and may need to be completed at a later date from the course.
Learning Materials
All learning materials will be provided for the student, by the trainer. This includes student workbooks, assessment tools, and resources for practical assessments appropriate to the course.
